You have to get clay and kneed it. Then you have to make it into a circular shape and slam it on the wheel. you get water and start making your piece by shaping it and making it even. The difficulties i had was to make my piece go taller and to get my hands to work its way into my piece. My piece broke and it kept messing up The things i found successful was that i got to make my piece even and it was surprisingly easy to form the center

First i had to shape the shoe with paper and start duct taping the paper together to make the base of the shoe. Then i layered the shoe with a bunch of tape and gradually made the shoe look more like an actual shoe. The thing i found successful about my piece was that it was an easy shoe to do and piecing the papers together as a base was also easy. I would change the shoes look because it does look basic. This shoe was unsuccessful because i couldn't do the laces so i gave up and did a different shoe.
The materials i got were wire.
It made this piece hard to work with because you cant really make anything much with wire, especially this kind of wire. I made this nature piece because it seemed very cool and i really love nature, i love the atmosphere and flowers. My piece was successful because it came out looking great and the colors come together perfectly. An artist named Scott Weaver created his sculpture piece with only toothpicks and glue! 100,000 tooth picks of the place San Francisco.
What really draws me into his sculpture is how different and so specifically detailed this sculpture is. It has a very wooden aesthetic to it and i wish i could do something like that. |
